WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO

Days Cove Reclamation Company is a full service solid waste management firm, specializing in reclaiming surface mining and other industrial sites in conjunction with the management of construction and demolition debris (rubble) landfills. Days Cove operates rubble landfills, constructs landfill sites, and reclaims various waste disposal facilities that have reached capacity.

Construction and disposal debris includes:

·        Land clearing debris

·        Wastes associated with the razing of buildings,  

      roads, bridges, and other structures, and

·        Construction debris associated with structural

      building materials.

A Days Cove operated rubble landfill does not accept household garbage or hazardous waste.

Days Cove recognizes that waste disposal is an essential component of every community's basic infrastruc­ture. We are dedicated to serving this need in a manner that is protective of individual health and safety and the greater environmental good.

Committed to Environmental Protection- All waste disposal sites are closely regulated and subject to recurrent government inspection and supervision. Permits from local, county and federal entities must be secured before, during and after the construction and operation of any waste disposal facility. Days Cove adheres to the environmental protection requirements of all the permits regulating its operations.

Committed to Health and Safety - The health and safety of Days Cove's neighboring communitiesi,employees, and customers are of utmost importance to us. All of our sites are safely maintained. All Days Cove employees and contractors are trained to meet the requirements of the Maryland Occupational Safety and Health Administration.

In addition, we are committed to working cooperatively with our host communities to proactively identify and address health and safety concerns.

Committed to Working with the Community - Days Cove considers the long-term, future use of a property during the design phase of our project planning - not after the fact. We actively seek community input and build into our design the best way to return the property to usable, beneficial open space following the conclusion of our operations. Whether it is ball fields or walking trails, bird sanctuaries or wildflower pre­serves, Days Cove works with a community to maximize the long-term value of a Days Cove-operated facility.
